If + past simple + would + infinitive without to


We use this structure to talk about:

* Unreal present or future situations


ex: If I had enough money, I would buy a new car.
     ( Si tuviera dinero, compraría un auto nuevo.)
     If I didn´t feel so tired, I would go jogging with you.
     (Si no estuviera tan cansado iría a correr contigo)
    
*Unlikely present or future situations


ex: If Paul knew my address he would write to me.
     (Si Paul supiera mi dirección, me escribiría)
     If I won a lot of money I would travel around the world.
     (Si ganara mucho dinero, viajaría por el mundo.)
